Investing.com – Credit card spending in New Zealand rose in May, official data showed on Tuesday.
In a report, the Reserve Bank of New Zealand said credit card spending rose a seasonally adjusted 3.4% in May, following an increase of 0.7% in April.
April’s figure was revised up from 1.9%.
Following the release of the data the kiwi was down against the U.S. dollar, with NZD/USD shedding 0.09% to hit 0.7076.
