TOKYO, May 1 (Reuters) - Japan's economy will not recover easily from recession and domestic demand alone is not enough to make up for a slide in external demand, Finance Minister Kaoru Yosano said on Friday.
"Industrial output rose slightly month-on-month, which is good news. But various downside risks to the economy exist," Yosano, told a news conference after a cabinet meeting.
"The Japanese economy's current state is driven mostly by declines in exports and external demand. It won't recover easily," Yosano said. (Reporting by Leika Kihara)
