TOKYO, Dec 12 (Reuters) - Japanese consumer confidence fell to a fresh record low in November, a government survey showed on Friday.
The Cabinet Office survey's sentiment index for general households, which includes views on incomes and jobs, was 28.4 in November, the lowest since the survey began in 1982. It was down from 29.4 in October.
"General households" are those with two or more people, and a reading below 50 suggests consumer pessimism.
