TOKYO, Oct 6 (Reuters) - Japan's national strategy minister Naoto Kan said on Tuesday optimism is not warranted for the Japanese economy.
"The government needs to stay cautious about the economy and with this in mind, it intends to consider the budget for the next fiscal year," Kan, who is also deputy prime minister, told a news conference after a cabinet meeting. Japan's fiscal year starts in April. (Reporting by Rie Ishiguro)
