NEW YORK, Oct 8 (Reuters) - The euro erased gains against the dollar in early New York trade on Friday after Eurogroup Chairman Jean-Claude Juncker said he was not happy with the euro zone single currency reaching $1.4000.
The euro was last down 0.5 percent at $1.3855, off the session high of $1.3985 on electronic trading platform EBS. The euro rose above $1.4000 on Thursday. (Reporting by Nick Olivari; Editing by James Dalgleish)
