NEW YORK, Oct 5 (Reuters) - The dollar extended declines against the yen on Tuesday, falling to a session low on electronic trading platform EBS as concerns about a possible fresh round of U.S. quantitative easing overshadowed an unexpected interest rate cut from the Bank of Japan.
The dollar was last down 0.1 percent against the yen at 83.23 after going as low as 83.21 on EBS. (Reporting by Nick Olivari; Editing by James Dalgleish)
