NEW YORK, Oct 7 (Reuters) - The dollar extended declines against the yen on Thursday, falling to a fresh 15-year low on electronic trading platform EBS as concerns about expected U.S. quantitative easing overshadowed fears about fresh intervention by the Bank of Japan to weaken the yen.
The dollar was last down 0.9 percent against the yen at 82.19 after going as low as 82.11 yen on EBS. (Reporting by Nick Olivari; Editing by James Dalgleish)
