Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Biomed, Technology and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL), which rose 2.50% or 40 points to trade at 1640 at the close. Meanwhile, Cellcom Israel Ltd (TA:CEL) added 1.55% or 50 points to end at 3281 and Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) was up 1.41% or 1030 points to 74330 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which fell 4.19% or 104 points to trade at 2381 at the close. Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT) declined 1.51% or 75 points to end at 4889 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TA:AZRG) was down 1.05% or 210 points to 19700.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 304 to 104 and 7 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.20% or 0.53 to $44.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.26% or 0.59 to hit $47.51 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.27% or 3.35 to trade at $1250.25 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.28% to 3.5066, while EUR/ILS fell 0.13% to 3.9850.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.36% at 95.83.
