ALMATY, Feb 2 (Reuters) - Inflation in Kazakhstan edged up to 0.3 percent in January this year in month-on-month terms from 0.2 percent in December 2008, the state statistics agency said on Monday.
The government said last month consumer prices may fall in 2009 and 2010 after years of inflation. Inflation slowed to 9.5 percent last year from 18.8 percent in 2007. (Writing by Maria Golovnina; Editing by Clarence Fernandez)
