Investing.com - The New Zealand Dollar was lower against the U.S. Dollar on Friday after the release of U.S. data on Nonfarm Payrolls.
NZD/USD was trading at 0.7366, down 0.59% at time of writing.
The pair was likely to find support at 0.7339, today’s low, and resistance at 0.7554, Monday’s high.
Earlier in the day, official data showed that U.S. non-farm payrolls rose more-than-expected to a seasonally adjusted 192.00K last month, from 63.00K in the preceding month whose figure was revised up from 36.00K.
Analysts had expected U.S. non-farm payrolls to rise 180.00K last month.
Meanwhile, the New Zealand Dollar was down against the Australian Dollar and the Euro, with AUD/NZD gaining 0.24% to hit 1.3723 and EUR/NZD rising 0.59% to hit 1.8966.
