Investing.com - Chinese money market rates eased on Monday on dovish signals from the central bank last week that also left yuan trading subdued in the morning session.
The yuan last traded at 6.1471 against the U.S. dollar, having fallen to as low as 6.1590 shortly after the open and down on last Friday's close at 6.1450. But some market traders said that 6.3000 may be the goal for now as Beijing tries to squeeze speculators out of the appreciation trade.
