July 7 (Reuters) - Here are details about the spread of the new flu, a mixture of swine, bird and human viruses which has infected more than 79,000 people, according to the latest World Health Organisation (WHO) and local health authority tallies.
The WHO has declared an influenza pandemic and advised governments to prepare for a long-term battle against the virus.
