BRUSSELS, Jan 16 (Reuters) - The European Commission said on Friday it regretted a decision by the United States to take action at the World Trade Organisation in a long-running spat over Brussels' ban on imports of U.S. chlorinated chicken.
"We regret the U.S. decision to resort to WTO dispute settlement on this issue. We will carefully study the U.S. claims and will engage in consultations in good faith," the Commission said in a statement. (Reporting by Darren Ennis, editing by Dale Hudson)
