PARIS, Sept 23 (Reuters) - French small-cap video game maker Mindscape is "listening out" for acquisition opportunities, Chief Executive Jean-Pierre Nordman told Reuters in an interview.
The company is seeking to expand into the growing Internet games sector after a first aborted attempt with "World of Soccer" and the success of "Mission Equitation Online", of which it wants to launch a new version.
Mindscape, which makes most of its video game sales with Nintendo's Wii and DS consoles, is betting on a price cut for the Wii at the beginning of October to give a boost to the group revenue.
The company has a market value of 21 million euros ($31.09 million).
