LONDON, Nov 12 (Reuters) - Credit insurer Atradius has cut back its provision of credit insurance for companies which supply the retail sector, including some suppliers of DSG International, the British electrical goods retailer said.
A spokeswoman for Atradius had no immediate comment.
"Atradius is only one provider of credit insurance in the market. Whilst it is true Atradius have reduced, but not withdrawn, credit insurance across the retail sector, this is not a DSG-specific issue. This is more about Atradius and how it manages its business," a DSG spokesman said on Wednesday.
"Our suppliers still have access to credit insurance, they continue to supply us and there have been no changes to our terms with suppliers."
British computing magazine PC Advisor said earlier on Wednesday Atradius had cut credit insurance to some DSG suppliers.
