Investing.com – The dollar edged higher Friday after nonfarm payroll data for October.
The dollar index was up 0.12% at 97.31 at 08:45 ET after trading flat prior to the data.
The greenback was up 0.15% at 103.33 yen and gained 0.13% against the euro.
The U.S economy created 161,000 jobs in October, missing a forecast of 175,000.
September figure revised upward to 191,000; average wages up 0.4%, topping estimate.
