SEOUL, Oct 13 (Reuters) - China is making efforts to avoid a currency war, but issues on any specific currency should not be treated as an agenda at G20 meetings, a Chinese G20 negotiator said on Wednesday.
Cui Tiankai, a vice foreign minister who is China's key G20 negotiator, said Beijing was "trying to avoid" a currency war, in response to a question from journalists, but did not elaborate.
He also said China had no specific target level for the yuan
