HANGZHOU, China, Oct 29 (Reuters) - China has agreed to remove the requirement for national content in tenders for wind power equipment, the country's top energy planning official said on Thursday.
Zhang Guobao, head of the National Energy Administration, told reporters the concession had been made in response to U.S. requests, during negotiations at the Joint Commission for Commerce and Trade in Hangzhou. (Reporting by Lucy Hornby; Editing by Jerry Norton)
