BEIJING, Jan 21 (Reuters) - China is unlikely to see a significant increase in external demand in 2010, a vice minister of commerce said, adding that it is unsustainable for China to rely on low-cost exports as its own production costs rise.
Fu Ziying told a forum on imports and exports in Beijing on Thursday that China sees difficulty in coordinating a global exit strategy, predicting fluctuations in global currency values and rising trade protectionism in 2010.
