HANGZHOU, China, Oct 29 (Reuters) - China has relaxed restrictions on imports of U.S. pork, and urged the United States to move quickly to certify Chinese cooked poultry processors for sale in the U.S. market, Chinese Agriculture Minister Sun Zhengcai said on Thursday.
China imposed restrictions on imports of U.S. pork earlier this year after an outbreak of a new strain of H1N1 flu virus, commonly referred to as swine flu.
Analysts have also accused China of slowing purchases of all U.S. meat in retaliation for a Washington policy that prevents imports of Chinese chicken. (Reporting by Lucy Hornby; Editing by Chris Lewis)
