TOKYO, Feb 27 (Reuters) - Japanese Finance and Economics Minister Kaoru Yosano said Friday's jobless and consumer inflation data showed the recession was having an increasing impact on the nation's economy.
Yosano also told a news conference that the yen was weakening partly because investors, who had held the yen as a safe-haven currency, were unloading their positions after looking at Japan's economic conditions. (Reporting by Leika Kihara)
