WASHINGTON, Feb 3 (Reuters) - Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke will travel to Capitol Hill on Tuesday to discuss the U.S. economy with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, an aide to the House leader said.
The meeting, scheduled for 2:30 p.m. EST (1930 GMT), will focus on the financial industry bailout that was enacted last October and the overall condition of the economy, the aide said.
No new legislative initiatives were expected to be discussed, according to the aide.
