GENEVA, Dec 15 (Reuters) - The European Union, United States and Latin American, African and Caribbean nations initialled papers on Tuesday to end a decades-old trade war over bananas.
"So, it's done. Thank you very much," said Eckart Guth, the EU ambassador to the World Trade Organisation who chaired the Geneva ceremony, prompting loud applause and cheers from trade negotiators. (Reporting by Jonathan Lynn)
