PARIS, Nov 14 (Reuters) - France avoided slipping into recession in the third quarter, with gross domestic product growing 0.14 percent, French Economy Minister Christine Lagarde said on Friday.
Statistics office INSEE is due to release the third quarter data at 0750 GMT on Friday and a Reuters poll of economists had forecast a 0.1 percent contraction following a 0.3 percent contraction in the second quarter.
Lagarde told RTL radio that consumption and investments had held up well in the third quarter. (Reporting by Crispian Balmer and Anna Willard)
