Meanwhile, across the Atlantic, European stock markets were mixed at close. France’s CAC 40 was up 0.64%; Germany’s DAX gained 0.04%; Britain’s FTSE 100 declined 0.20%; and the EURO STOXX 50 rose 0.48%.
