Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Industrials and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb), which rose 2.19% or 3.0 points to trade at 142.2 at the close. Meanwhile, ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) added 1.53% or 2.8 points to end at 182.3 and Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) was up 0.69% or 4.8 points to 699.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb), which fell 9.47% or 15.70 points to trade at 150.00 at the close. Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) declined 0.96% or 1.45 points to end at 149.15 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was down 0.79% or 1.75 points to 220.05.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 329 to 292 and 70 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.45% or 0.26 to $58.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.31% or 0.20 to hit $64.83 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1429.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.05% to 10.6768, while USD/SEK rose 0.41% to 9.6075.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 98.032.
