TOKYO, Feb 2 (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei average extended the previous day's gains on Wednesday after global markets rallied on strong manufacturing data and easing concerns about the Middle East, but its rise may be limited with the yen at 1-month highs against the dollar.
The benchmark Nikkei index was up 1 percent or 104.49 points at 10,375.54.
The broader Topix added 1 percent to 922.10. (Reporting by Antoni Slodkowski; Editing by Michael Watson)
