NEW YORK, Nov 22 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks opened lower on Monday as enthusiasm over a resolution to help bail out Ireland dissipated and worries over contagion to other euro zone countries remained.
The Dow Jones industrial average was down 27.32 points, or 0.24 percent, at 11,176.23. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index dipped 3.28 points, or 0.27 percent, at 1,196.45. The Nasdaq Composite Index fell 9.05 points, or 0.36 percent, at 2,509.07.
