WASHINGTON, Sept 28 (Reuters) - A U.S. congressional bill that would treat China's undervalued currency as a subsidy and would slap duties on some Chinese imports is likely to pass on Wednesday with bipartisan support, a key lawmaker said.
"This bill represents action ... My guess is it will not only send a message, it will further equip our administration" to fight China's currency practices, Sander Levin, chairman of House of Representatives Ways and Means Committee, told a panel setting rules for the vote.
