NEW YORK, Nov 3 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks cut losses to trade little changed on Tuesday following data that showed new orders received by factories rose more than expected in September.
* The Dow Jones industrial average slipped 9.52 points, or 0.10 percent, to 9,779.92. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index added 0.01 points, or 0.00 percent, to 1,042.89. The Nasdaq Composite Index was off 2.94 points, or 0.14 percent, to 2,046.26.
