NEW YORK, July 10 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks extended declines on Friday on jitters that an economic recovery and corporate profits will be anemic after Chevron warned about second-quarter results and oil futures tumbled.
* The Dow Jones industrial average fell 85.85 points, or 1.05 percent, to 8,097.32. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index lost 9.29 points, or 1.05 percent, to 873.39. The Nasdaq Composite Index slipped 10.90 points, or 0.62 percent, to 1,741.65.
