* German Chancellor Angela Merkel told a newspaper she was highly sceptical about the chances of Belgium-based financial investor RHJ International winning the battle to buy carmaker Opel.
* Hang Seng Bank, Hong Kong's fourth-largest lender, is considering an A-share listing in mainland China and issuing yuan-denominated bonds, Friday's official Shanghai Securities News quoted its chief executive as saying.
* Australia's $44 billion sovereign wealth fund has sold about a quarter of its stake in telecommunications company Telstra Ltd, the Australian Financial Review reported on Friday.
