STUTTGART/FRANKFURT, Sept 1 (Reuters) - Stuttgart prosecutors raided another apartment and confiscated material in connection with a probe of Porsche employees, the spokeswoman for the Stuttgart prosecutor's office said Tuesday.

The raid was carried out last Friday and is part of a probe into alleged market manipulation of Volkswagen shares.

A Porsche spokesman confirmed that another apartment had been searched.

The apartment of an employee who is not at management board level was searched, two people familiar with the investigation said.

During the search, material was found on a computer, one of these people said.

"The investigators found what they were looking for," this person said.

The most recent search resulted from clues gathered during earlier searches of premises in Frankfurt and Stuttgart on August 20, the person added.

Porsche has said that among the people being investigated are the former chief executive Wendelin Wiedeking and former chief financial officer Holger Haerter.

Also being targeted is a bank in Frankfurt which has been executing trades on Porsche's behalf. Investigators are probing whether Porsche passed on insider information to a third party.

In a separate but related case, prosecutors in Frankfurt on Tuesday said they have been investigating Porsche Holding SE for months in response to accusations made by lawyers representing investors.

The investigation is probing share manipulation related to exercising options on Volkswagen shares, the prosecutor said. Porsche is also being investigated for potential violations of disclosure rules, the Frankfurt prosecutor's office said.
