BRASILIA, July 14 (Reuters) - Developed countries are expected to lose nearly 30 million jobs from the end of 2007 through the end of 2010, the Secretary General of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development said on Tuesday.
Angel Gurria, who heads the OECD, said the job losses were mainly a result of the global financial crisis and the subsequent economic downturn that has pushed most developed economies into recession. (Reporting by Ana Nicolaci da Costa; Writing Elzio Barreto; Editing by James Dalgleish)
