BRUSSELS, July 13 (Reuters) - The European Commission said on Monday it had no indication from Lufthansa that the German carrier wants to revise proposed antitrust remedies for its planned takeover of Austrian Airlines (AUA).
A spokesman for the European Union's executive arm said Lufthansa had formalised remedies it offered the Commission to address competition concerns, but these were insufficient.
"The chances of a Commission decision before the end of July are now fading very fast," Jonathan Todd, spokesman for the European Commission, told a daily news briefing in Brussels. (Reporting by Bate Felix; Editing by Dale Hudson)
