TOKYO, Oct 2 (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei average hit a two-month low on Friday after U.S. data the previous day stirred concerns about the strength of the economic recovery.
The Nikkei fell 1.3 percent or 131.87 points to 9,846.77, while the broader Topix fell 1.4 percent to 883.62.
On Wall Street, the Dow and S&P 500 suffered their worst one-day falls in three months on Thursday. (Reporting by Masayuki Kitano)
