TOKYO, Oct 5 (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei average hit a 10-week low on Monday after U.S. stocks dipped late last week as weak jobs data underscored the fragility of the U.S. economy's recovery.
The Nikkei dipped 0.2 percent to 9,717.63 and fell to as low as 9,713.92
The broader Topix dipped 0.1 percent to 873.67. (Reporting by Masayuki Kitano)
