TOKYO, June 23 (Reuters) - Japan's Nikkei stock average fell 3.1 percent on Tuesday, as investors fretted about the outlook for the global economy, with exporters such as Toyota Motor Corp hurt by the yen's rise against the dollar.
The Nikkei slid 303.26 points to 9,523.01 and hit a three-week intraday low of 9,511.45 at one point.
The broader Topix slid 2.6 percent to 898.11.
