TOKYO, Aug 27 (Reuters) - Tokyo's Nikkei average fell 0.7 percent on Thursday after hitting a 10-month closing high the previous day, with shares of exporters such as Advantest Corp losing steam.
The benchmark Nikkei slipped 68.93 points to 10,570.78. It rose 1.4 percent the previous day to score its highest close since Oct. 3.
The broader Topix shed 0.6 percent to 969.58. (Reporting by Aiko Hayashi)
