TOKYO, Sept 18 (Reuters) - Tokyo's Nikkei average fell 0.6 percent on Friday, dented as recent gainers such as Advantest Corp lost steam after U.S. stocks took a breather following a rally, with trade also cautious ahead of a five-day holiday in Japan.
Aiful Corp was untraded due to a glut of sell orders after the Japanese consumer finance firm said it may ask its lenders to change the repayment schedule on loans as part of a restructuring.
The benchmark Nikkei slipped 64.59 points to 10,379.21, after gaining 1.7 percent the previous day to hit a one-week closing high.
The broader Topix fell 0.6 percent to 934.38.
Japanese markets will be closed for a five-day holiday from Sept. 19-23. (Reporting by Aiko Hayashi)
