HONG KONG, Aug 13 (Reuters) - Hong Kong shares rose 2.1 percent on Thursday, recouping part of the steep losses made in the previous session, helped by supportive comments from the U.S. Federal Reserve and positive earnings momentum.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index finished up 426.06 points at 20,861.30.
The China Enterprises Index, which represents top locally listed mainland Chinese stocks, was up 2.1 percent at 11,900.15. (Reporting by Parvathy Ullatil; Editing by Chris Lewis)
