HONG KONG, Aug 5 (Reuters) - Hong Kong shares opened flat on Wednesday, as caution over the deluge of coporate earnings in the coming days put a damper on buying.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index was indicated to open 16.66 points lower at 20,779.77.
The China Enterprises Index, which represents top locally listed mainland Chinese stocks, was 0.8 percent lower at 12,118.02. (Reporting by Parvathy Ullatil; Editing by Chris Lewis)
