LONDON (Reuters) - Britain's finance ministry said on Tuesday that Jayne-Anne Gadhia, recently appointed as an executive at U.S. online services provider Salesforce (N:CRM), will no longer take up her appointment on the Bank of England's Financial Policy Committee.
"We are of course sorry that Jayne-Anne Gadhia won't be taking up her role as an external member on the Financial Policy Committee," the Bank of England said in a statement.
The finance ministry said it will launch a new appointment process to fill the vacancy.
