Investing.com - Service sector activity in the U.S. soared in June, industry data showed.
The ISM said Wednesday its non-manufacturing PMI rose to 56.5 last month.
The PMI in May was 52.9, the slowest pace in more than two years.
Analysts had expected the index to rise to 53.3.
A reading above 50.0 indicates expansion, below 50.0 a contraction.
