Investing.com - Services sector activity in the U.S. in September was higher than expected, industry data showed.
The ISM said Wednesday its non-manufacturing PMI rose to 57.1 last month from 51.4 in August.
Analysts had expected the index to rise to 53.0 in September.
A reading above 50.0 indicates expansion, below 50.0 a contraction.
