Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.87%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 5.93% or 36.0 points to trade at 643.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 2.76% or 6.9 points to end at 257.3 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 2.49% or 9.4 points to 386.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which fell 1.16% or 5.5 points to trade at 468.0 at the close. Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) declined 0.78% or 2.30 points to end at 291.60 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was down 0.65% or 4.5 points to 691.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 43 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) rose to 5-year highs; rising 2.49% or 9.4 to 386.4.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.59% or 0.73 to $46.77 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.37% or 0.67 to hit $49.44 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.53% or 18.96 to trade at $1223.34 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.61% to 6.5465, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4361.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.60% at 95.96.
