(Reuters) -The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said on Monday it has opened a preliminary evaluation into about 35,950 Ford (NYSE:F) Flex (NASDAQ:FLEX) vehicles in the United States over a potential rear-camera failure.
Ford said it was working with the NHTSA to support its investigation.
The U.S. auto safety regulator said it has received about 23 reports alleging the rear-view camera image was blank, distorted, or inverted, on 2019 model year vehicles.
