Investing.com – Following the June ISM manufacturing index hitting a 16-month high on Friday, the factory chairman Bradley Holcomb warned that the most of the survey data was collected prior to the U.K.’s decision to leave the European Union, known as a Brexit.
“We’ll have to wait and see about Brexit,” he said in a press conference after the report was published.
However, Holcomb did note that the U.K. is a relatively small U.S. trading partner.
In reference to June report, he suggested that manufacturing activity was on a good trend but was not robust.
