Investing.com - The Chicago PMI rose much more than expected in June, data showed on Thursday.
The Institute for Supply Management said the Chicago PMI rose to a seasonally adjusted 56.8.
Analysts had expected the Chicago PMI to rise to 50.7 in June from 49.3 the preceding month.
A number above 50.0 indicates expansion, while below indicates contraction.
