Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.45% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 2.73% or 15.0 points to trade at 565.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) added 1.89% or 10.0 points to end at 540.0 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was up 1.37% or 5.1 points to 376.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which fell 2.25% or 5.7 points to trade at 247.4 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 1.28% or 150 points to end at 11610 and DSV (CO:DSV) was down 1.13% or 5.5 points to 479.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 70 to 50 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.79% or 0.40 to $50.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.39% or 0.22 to hit $55.78 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.15% or 1.88 to trade at $1276.02 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.16% to 6.3276, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4429.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 93.29.
